User Data Deletion

FastReply respects your right to control your personal and platform data. This page outlines how to disconnect your Instagram account and request complete deletion of all associated data in accordance with Meta Platform Policies and global privacy regulations.

1. Instant Disconnection (Self-Service)

You can immediately disconnect your Instagram account from FastReply at any time:

  1. Sign in to your FastReply dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Instagram Connection.
  3. Click the Disconnect Account button.

Result: All stored OAuth access tokens and webhooks are instantly revoked and deleted. FastReply will immediately stop receiving events and sending direct replies for your account.

2. Disconnecting via Meta (Facebook / Instagram)

You can also revoke FastReply's permissions directly from your Meta / Facebook account settings:

  1. Go to your Facebook profile settings and navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Apps and Websites.
  3. Locate FastReply in the list of authorized apps.
  4. Click Remove.

When you remove FastReply via Facebook, Meta sends an automated Data Deletion Callback to our servers, initiating the automated removal of your connection and authorization tokens.

3. Complete Workspace & Account Data Purge Request

If you wish to permanently delete your entire FastReply workspace, account profile, and all historical data from our databases:

Send an email request to:

Please provide:

  • The email address associated with your FastReply login.
  • Your connected Instagram handle (e.g., @yourbrand).
  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request".

4. Categories of Data Deleted

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we permanently purge:

  • Encrypted Instagram access tokens and account identifiers.
  • All campaign templates, keyword triggers, and configured reply copy.
  • Delivery logs, interaction timestamps, and webhook payloads.
  • Link tracking records, click logs, and analytics metrics.
  • Workspace membership records and associated user profiles.

5. Timeline & Confirmation

Self-service disconnection is instantaneous. Full manual workspace deletion requests are verified and permanently purged from active production databases within 48 to 72 business hours (and no later than 30 days as mandated by GDPR and Meta platform terms). We will send an email confirmation along with a deletion reference code upon completion.
